YOU Can Do It! A Humorous Guide to Self-Improvement
Project Overview:  For this project, I chose to create a design for a book that I could imagine the actor/comedian Rob Schneider publishing.  I experimented with different types of fonts and colors, created the logo, as well as deciding to embarrass myself and my friend in the hilarious photos used throughout (worth it!).  This campaign includes a book design, and 2 advertisements to promote the book.

Let's Play Dress Up: Lose Your Dignity By Digging Through Your Attic
Project Overview:  In addition to the campaign above, I created this design as Rob Schneider's follow-up book to "You Can Do It!".  I once again decided to use myself and others for the entertaining photos in the design (that's what friends are for), and used Photoshop photo cropping/manipulation.  This campaign includes a book design and 1 advertisement to promote the book.

Page Layout

Newsletter:  To Die For - A Guide to Gothic Culture
Project Overview:  Being fascinated by gothic culture, I decided to create a 4-page newsletter design and content with this theme.  Included in the newsletter is an actual interview I conducted with a friend, and drawings/photos of mine (that's even me if you can believe it all "gothed up" on the cover page).  I enjoyed experimenting with the layout and typography such as pull-out quotes and drop caps.
